STUDIO BUILD · DATA ROOM

A consequential ownership decision.
Then an operating company.

Tangle determines whether ownership belongs in your next move, compares the paths that fit, and builds only when the evidence earns a yes. This room shows the decision system, the deliverables, the boundaries, and what happens after approval.

WHAT YOU GET

More than a business plan.

The engagement moves from an unresolved ownership question to an approved direction, then into architecture, buildout, launch infrastructure, and initial market support.

01

A governed ownership decision

A reasoned position on build, buy, franchise, wait, or another path, shaped around your capital, role, time, geography, and risk.

02

A venture blueprint

Market position, offer, pricing logic, unit economics, operating model, risks, assumptions, and the sequence of what must be proven first.

03

A built operating company

When a direction earns approval: software, brand, site, CRM, automations, reporting, and the systems the company actually runs on.

04

A loaded launch motion

Named accounts, sales assets, outbound and inbound infrastructure, onboarding, delivery workflows, and an operating cadence.

05

Ninety days in market

Hands-on activation support to test messaging, pricing, sequencing, and the operating model against real market response.

06

Twelve months of advisory

Ongoing access for the strategic decisions that surface only after the company is operating.

BEFORE WE BUILD

The decision gets its own operating system.

DIOS does not let research, a spreadsheet, AI output, or founder instinct control the answer alone. Four intelligence classes challenge one another inside a governed decision environment.

01 · INTELLIGENCE LAYER

Client intelligence

Capital boundaries, operating strengths, risk posture, desired owner role, time, lifestyle constraints, preferences, hard limits, and contradictions become governed inputs.

MODELING

Make uncertainty visible before capital is committed.

Models do not prove a company will succeed. They expose the range, dependencies, downside, and assumptions capable of flipping the path.

INSTRUMENT 01

Weighted scorecards

Compare vehicles against the same priorities.

OWNERSHIP

Yes, you own it.

Tangle takes 0% equity. On full payment, you own the final client-specific deliverables expressly created under the engagement. Tangle retains its underlying methods, systems, frameworks, models, templates, tools, prompts, automations, and processes.

THE ENGAGEMENT

From decision to operating company.

PHASE 01 · Weeks 1–4

Decision and blueprint

Intake, DIOS convergence, research, modeling, red-team review, finalist paths, and the Blueprint dossier. It ends at a Direction Gate you control.

  • Comparable ownership paths
  • Evidence and assumption ledger
  • Financial model and risk ranges
  • Go, wait, decline, or external route
COMMITMENT

Know what you are approving.

Public price theater is not useful before the decision and build scope are understood. The engagement is scoped after qualification, and every phase has a clear approval boundary.

Studio work can include

  • DIOS decision work and research
  • Financial and scenario modeling
  • Blueprint dossier and build architecture
  • Software, AI, brand, site, CRM, and reporting
  • Launch infrastructure and sales assets
  • Activation support and strategic advisory

The business funds separately

  • Legal, tax, accounting, insurance, and licenses
  • Hosting, software, data, and API usage
  • Media, inventory, equipment, or facilities
  • Payroll, contractors, working capital, and reserves

Phased approvals

Fund each stage only after approving the one before it.

Direction Gate

Approve one path, redesign, wait, decline, or stop.

No required debt

The engagement does not require an SBA loan, HELOC, or personal guarantee.

No equity surrendered

No carried interest, royalties, revenue share, or board seat.

PROOF

Three decisions. Three different starting points.

Specific engagements, shared with permission. Modeled and case-study figures are not guarantees of future results.

DIOS · OWNER DECISION

Three lanes. One selected path.

The model's top-ranked lane was not the principal's final choice. Evidence informed the decision without taking authority away.

DECISION ARCHITECTURE · LIVE VENTURE

Four launch paths isolated.

Capital, an MVP, and 18 LOIs were already present. The work separated structural choices before one silently dictated the company.

ENGINEERING AND SYSTEMS

The operating engine, not slideware.

A dedicated studio team builds production systems, documents them, and hands the client-specific stack over in your name.

01Verified, not scraped

Data and knowledge infrastructure

Ingestion, entity resolution, knowledge graphs, multi-modal extraction, change detection, and source verification.

02Grounded, not guessing

AI systems

Structured output, deterministic retrieval, evaluations, citations, calibrated uncertainty, and multi-provider architecture.

03One source of truth

Integration architecture

Versioned APIs, webhooks, syndication, idempotent events, audit trails, and normalized reporting data.

04Measured, not vibes

Revenue and observability

Deliverability, enrichment, CRM automation, attribution, structured logs, alerting, and live operating dashboards.

TEAM

Founder judgment. Studio execution.

FUNDING CONTEXT

Capital structure is part of the decision.

Some principals use cash, a rollover structure, or multiple sources. Tangle does not prescribe a funding path, and funding never substitutes for owner fit or decision quality.

Common structures to discuss with your advisors

ROBS rollover

Potential owner-operator structure using eligible retirement funds. Requires a C-corporation, active employment, and ongoing compliance.

401(k) loan

A limited bridge that may supplement other capital and must be repaid under plan rules.

Eligible withdrawal

A simpler route for some principals, with tax consequences depending on age and account type.

FIT

Know before the call.

An attractive company can still be wrong for the owner. The right engagement starts with a real reason now and the ability to act on a difficult answer.

STRONG FIT
  • You have a live ownership decision, not a vague someday goal
  • You have authority and capital left to act after the fee
  • You want the decision tested before a build begins
  • You expect to be involved as an owner
  • You value documented reasoning and can challenge a favored path
PROBABLY NOT A FIT
  • ×You want a guaranteed return or fixed income date
  • ×You want someone else to run the company for you
  • ×You cannot afford to deploy the capital at risk
  • ×You want to skip decision work and begin building immediately
  • ×You want a franchise, turnkey opportunity, or equity partner
